Dan Tuinstra (he/him) is a published researcher in areas of psychosis, mood disorders, neuromodulation, and addiction. He has a background in inpatient, outpatient, consult-liaison, and interventional psychiatry. Additionally, he is involved in medical education of students, residents, and other health professionals. Dan is passionate about approaching each person where they’re at, meeting them with compassion and empathy.

About Daniel Tuinstra
Dan has completed his undergraduate studies in psychology, family studies, and biomedical sciences. He attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine (MD), as well as completing his Psychiatry residency and addiction psychiatry fellowship at MSU-Pine Rest. He is Dual Board Certified in General and Addiction Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Additionally he is the President of the Michigan Psychiatric Society, the Michigan District Branch of the American Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Littlejohn provides outpatient psychiatric medication management for adolescents and adults (ages 15 and up). Her goal is to offer thoughtful, personalized care that aligns with each client’s mental health goals.
