Nicole Brown (she/her)

Nicole Brown is a doctoral psychology intern at Psychological Insights, LLC. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and practiced for several years as a Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP) before transitioning into her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license. Nicole is also a partner and co-owner of a private practice group serving clients in Grand Rapids and Grand Haven.
A certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) therapist, Nicole specializes in the treatment of anxiety and is passionate about helping individuals strengthen their emotional well-being and coping skills. During her internship at Psychological Insights, LLC, Nicole will be focused on working with adults aged 18 and older who are experiencing grief and loss.
Nicole brings a compassionate and grounded presence to her clinical work, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel seen and understood. She believes that therapy should be a collaborative space where individuals can explore their experiences, build on their strengths, and move toward healing and growth.
Working with Nicole
Nicole offers individual therapy for adults aged 18 and older. She is available for in-person sessions in Grand Haven or telehealth appointments on Fridays and Saturdays.

As an intern, Nicole is able to provide free or low-cost sessions, with a cash pay rate of $0–$50 per session.
